RV Repairs & Services for Your RV in Boise, ID & the Treasure Valley Area
Boise's RV Repair Shop Since 1984
We have been fixing RVs in the Treasure Valley for over 40 years now. Dave and Debi Duncan started this business in 1984, and we are still right here in Garden City doing the same thing, taking care of people's RVs the right way.
A lot of RV owners have a story about getting burned somewhere, a shop that overcharged them, or fixed 1 thing and broke another, or just never explained what was actually wrong. That is not how we operate. Dave is the kind of mechanic who tells you straight what is going on with your RV, what it actually needs, and what it is going to cost. No surprises.
We work on all makes and models, motorhomes, travel trailers, campers, whatever you have got. Licensed, insured, and locally owned, not a chain, not a franchise, just us. If you are anywhere in the Treasure Valley, Boise, Eagle, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, and the towns around them, we are your local shop.

RV Repair Services We Provide in Boise
We handle pretty much everything when it comes to keeping an RV running right. Here is what we do most often.
Complete RV Repairs
Whatever make or model you have got, we work on it. Motorhomes, travel trailers, campers, fifth wheels, all of it. If something is wrong with your RV, bring it in and we will figure out what it needs.
Air Conditioner Repair
A broken AC in the middle of summer is not something you want to deal with on the road. Boise Valley RV specializes in rooftop RV air conditioner repair only and does not service dash air conditioning systems. Whether your rooftop unit is not cooling properly, making strange noises, or has stopped working completely, our team can diagnose the problem and get it back up and running.
Awning Repair and Replacement
Torn fabric, broken arms, awnings that will not retract properly, we see all of it. Sometimes a repair gets you back in business, sometimes the awning needs to be replaced. We will tell you which one makes sense for yours.
Roof and Seam Sealant
This is one of the most important things you can stay on top of with an RV. A roof or seam that is not sealed properly lets water in, and water damage in an RV is expensive and a pain to deal with. We reseal roofs and seams to keep water out before it becomes a bigger problem.
Electrical Repair
RV electrical systems are not the same as a house, and they need someone who actually understands how they work. Wiring issues, battery problems, things that are not powering on right, we handle all of it.
Appliance Repair
Refrigerator, stove, water heater, furnace, whatever appliance in your RV has stopped working the way it should, we can take a look and get it fixed.
Water Systems and Sanitation
Plumbing issues, water supply problems, sanitation chemicals and supplies, we cover the whole water system side of things too.
Hard-to-Find Parts and Special Orders
If we do not have what you need in stock, we will track it down. We have been doing this long enough that finding hard-to-find RV parts is something we are genuinely good at.
Call (208) 375-4701 and tell us what is going on with your RV. We will let you know what it needs.
Motorhome Repair in Boise
Motorhomes are a different animal than a towable trailer, and they need someone who understands both sides of what is going on. You have got the living quarters, same as any RV, appliances, electrical, plumbing, the roof and seams. But you have also got an engine, a chassis, and a drivetrain underneath all of it, and that part needs attention too.
We work on the full motorhome, not just half of it. If your generator is acting up, if you are having engine trouble, if the chassis needs work, we handle that right alongside the AC repair, the appliance issues, and everything else that comes with owning a motorhome. A lot of shops only want to deal with 1 side of a motorhome and send you somewhere else for the rest. We do not do that here.
Class A, Class C, whatever you are driving, bring it in and we will take a look. Forty years of doing this means we have seen pretty much every kind of motorhome problem there is.
Travel Trailer Repair in Boise
Travel trailers come with their own set of issues that are a little different from a motorhome, mostly because there is no engine involved, but there is a lot more going on than people realize.
The hitch and frame are a big one. If your trailer is not towing right, pulling to 1 side, or the hitch connection does not feel solid, that is something worth getting checked before it turns into a bigger problem on the road. Axles and suspension take a beating too, especially with how much towing happens around here, and worn out components need to get caught before they fail somewhere inconvenient.
Water damage is probably the most common issue we see on travel trailers. Seals around windows, doors, and the roof break down over time, and once water gets in, it does not take long for it to cause real damage to the walls and floor. This is why staying on top of roof and seam sealant matters so much, it is a lot cheaper to reseal a trailer than to repair water damage after the fact.
Beyond that, the living quarters need the same attention as any RV, appliances, electrical, plumbing, all of it. We handle the whole trailer, not just 1 piece of it.
Why Treasure Valley RV Owners Choose Boise Valley RV
We hear the same thing from a lot of customers when they first come in. They tried another shop, or 2, or 3, and either got overcharged, got a runaround, or just never got a straight answer about what was actually wrong with their RV. That is exactly why we run things the way we do here.
Dave is old school. He tells you what is going on with your RV, what it needs, and what it is going to cost, no sugarcoating and no upselling you on things you do not need. One of our customers put it simply, he is the kind of honest mechanic you can actually trust, and that is the reputation we have built over 40 years in this Valley.
We have had customers bring us their RVs for 15 years running, the same families, the same vehicles, coming back because they know what they are going to get. That kind of repeat business does not happen by accident. It happens because people trust us to do the job right and charge a fair price for it.
We are locally owned, licensed, and insured, right here in Garden City, not a chain and not a franchise. Just Dave, Debi, and a team that has been doing this a long time and genuinely knows RVs inside and out.

Areas We Serve for RV Repairs
We work on RVs all over the Treasure Valley, not just here in Garden City.
Boise, Eagle, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, Kuna, Star, Middleton, and Emmett are all areas we regularly serve. Whether you are coming from a neighborhood in Boise or out toward Emmett, we are used to working with RV owners from all over this region.
A lot of our customers travel a bit to get to us, and that is fine. With 40 years in business, people know it is worth the drive to get an honest repair done right the first time instead of dealing with a shop closer to home that they do not fully trust.

RV Repair Questions We Hear a Lot
How long does RV repair take?
Depends on what is wrong with it. Something straightforward, like a part replacement or a small electrical fix, might be done same day or within a day or 2. Bigger jobs, especially anything involving special order parts, can take longer. We will give you an honest timeline once we have actually looked at your RV, not just a guess over the phone.
Do you work on all RV brands?
Yes. Motorhomes, travel trailers, campers, fifth wheels, any make or model, we work on it. Forty years in this business means we have seen pretty much everything that comes through the door.
What is the difference between motorhome and travel trailer repair?
Motorhomes have an engine, chassis, and drivetrain on top of the same living quarters issues a travel trailer has, appliances, electrical, plumbing, roof and seams. Travel trailers do not have an engine, but they have their own issues, like hitch and frame problems, axle and suspension wear from towing, and water damage from seals breaking down. We handle both, the full vehicle either way.
Can you fix a leaking RV roof?
Yes, this is one of the more common issues we deal with. Roof and seam sealant is something every RV owner should stay on top of, because once water gets in, it causes real damage fast. If your roof is leaking, get it to us sooner rather than later.
