Trusted, Local RV Repair in Eagle, ID
40+ Years Fixing RVs for Eagle, Idaho
If you own an RV in Eagle, there is a good chance it is parked on your own property right now rather than sitting in a storage lot somewhere. That is just how a lot of homes out here are set up, more space, bigger lots, room to keep things like boats and RVs close by. The tradeoff is that an RV sitting for weeks or months between trips needs someone who actually knows what to look for when it is time to use it again.
That is where we come in. We are based just up the road in Garden City, and we have been working on RVs across the Treasure Valley, Eagle included, since 1984. Dave and Debi Duncan built this business on 1 simple idea, tell people the truth about what their RV needs, charge a fair price, and do the work right the first time. Forty years later, that is still exactly how we run things.
A lot of Eagle residents own larger or higher-end RVs, fifth wheels, Class A motorhomes, toy haulers for the boat or the side-by-side. When you have got that kind of investment sitting in your driveway, the last thing you want is a shop that cuts corners or talks you into repairs you do not actually need. We do not operate that way, and our reputation in this Valley reflects it.
It is a short drive from Eagle out to Garden City, and once you see how we handle things, most people tell us it was worth it. Call us at
(208) 375-4701 and let's get your RV taken care of.
Your RV Is a Real Investment — We Treat It Like One
Eagle has some of the higher property values in the Treasure Valley, and that tends to show up in the RVs people own too. Bigger fifth wheels, Class A motorhomes, toy haulers built to carry a boat or a side-by-side out to the lake or the dunes. These are not small purchases, and the people who own them know it.
When you are bringing in something that expensive for repair, you want a shop that is not going to nickel and dime you or push work you do not need just to pad the bill. That is exactly the reputation Dave has built over 40 years. He tells you straight what is wrong, what it costs to fix, and that is the end of the conversation. No upselling, no surprises when you pick it up.
A lot of our Eagle customers are also the kind of RV owners who use their rigs regularly, weekend trips up to McCall, longer runs out to the Sawtooths, time on the water. An RV that only gets used a handful of times a year still needs to be ready to go when you actually want to use it, and that means the AC works, the appliances run, the roof is sealed, and nothing is going to leave you stranded halfway up the mountain.
Everything We Fix, From Roof Leaks to Refrigerators
Whatever your RV needs, we handle it. Here is what we work on most for Eagle customers.
Complete RV Repairs
Motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, any make or model. Bring it in and we will figure out exactly what it needs.
Air Conditioner Repair
A broken AC on a hot Idaho summer day is not something you want to deal with, especially if you are about to head out for a trip. We diagnose and fix RV air conditioning units that are not cooling right, making noise, or have stopped working altogether.
Awning Repair and Replacement
Torn fabric, broken arms, awnings that will not retract, we see it all. Sometimes a repair gets you back in business, sometimes it is time for a new one, and we will tell you which makes sense for yours.
Roof and Seam Sealant
An RV that sits for a while between trips needs its roof and seams checked regularly, since that is exactly where water finds its way in if something has broken down. We reseal roofs and seams before that turns into real water damage, which is one of the most expensive problems an RV can have.
Electrical Repair
RV electrical systems are not the same as a house, and they need someone who genuinely understands them. Wiring issues, battery problems, things that will not power on, we handle all of it.
Appliance Repair
Refrigerator, stove, water heater, furnace, whatever has stopped working the way it should, we will take a look and get it fixed.
Water Systems and Sanitation
Plumbing issues, water supply problems, sanitation chemicals and supplies, we cover the whole water system too.
Hard-to-Find Parts and Special Orders
If we do not have what you need on the shelf, we will track it down. After 40 years in this business, finding hard-to-find RV parts is something we are genuinely good at.
Call (208) 375-4701 and tell us what is going on with your RV. We will let you know what it needs.
Big Rig or Small Trailer — We Work on Both
Motorhomes and travel trailers come with different problems, and we handle both right here in 1 shop.
A motorhome has everything a travel trailer has, appliances, electrical, plumbing, roof and seams, plus an engine, chassis, and drivetrain underneath all of it. For Eagle customers running larger Class A motorhomes, that means more to keep an eye on, and we handle the whole vehicle rather than sending you somewhere else for the engine work. Generator issues, engine trouble, chassis problems, all of it gets handled alongside the living quarters repairs.
Travel trailers and toy haulers do not have an engine, but they have their own set of issues. Hitch and frame problems, axle and suspension wear from towing, and water damage from seals that have broken down over time are some of the most common things we see. If you are hauling a toy hauler out to the lake or the dunes on a regular basis, the towing components take a beating, and catching wear early is a lot cheaper than dealing with a failure on the road.
Heading to McCall or the Sawtooths? Get Checked Out First
A lot of Eagle RV owners are not full timers, you use your RV for trips, weekends up at McCall, longer runs out to the Sawtooths, time on the water with the boat in tow. That means your RV might sit for weeks or even months between uses, and the worst time to find out something is wrong is after you have already loaded up and hit the road.
A pre-trip check is exactly what it sounds like. Before you head out, we go through the things that matter most when an RV has been sitting, the AC, to make sure it is going to keep you cool once you are out there. The appliances, refrigerator, stove, water heater, furnace, so nothing surprises you once you are set up at the campsite. The water system, so you are not dealing with a leak or a sanitation issue halfway through the trip.
For anyone towing, this matters even more. Hitch and frame condition, axle and suspension wear, tire condition, these are the things that can actually leave you stranded if they fail on the road, and they are also the easiest things to catch ahead of time with a proper check.
If you have got a trip coming up and your RV has been sitting for a while, do not wait until the morning you are supposed to leave to find out something needs attention. Bring it in ahead of time and we will make sure it is ready to go. Call
(208) 375-4701 to get it scheduled before your next trip.
